Haven't been wearing the new glasses since my old Gu-ess (inside joke) is still in good condition. I initially wanted a cheap plastic rimmed glasses but I have to live up to my budget to make it worth it - something I'm sure many girls out there thoroughly understands. As a metaphorical example, if you are given RM 150,000 budget for a car, would you buy a Proton?
A-ha! My sentiment, exactly.
So, instead of the usual square rimmed, I opted for an oval shaped rim instead. Mother said I look like Elton John. My father didn't say anything but I'm sure he would have said John Lennon. Sister blurbed that it reminded her of Harry Potter.
I have no idea what went flying through the mazes in my mind when I decided to get this pair. It's a change from the usual, y'know. I'm sure some of you are weirded out by my pick but I say, changes does not need to look good.
Changes!
Most of the time, we don't even know that we need it. You would only take notice of it once it has become a bookmark in the chapters of your life and after getting strewn in new plots and agendas, would you take a look back to acknowledge that this happened.
I'm dipping my toes deeper into the creek here, but those of you whom I've told about my situation to, would understand. I hope.
Wish me luck in future endeavours! I'm quite excited for it, so to speak.
