Turunga who?

The reason why I haven't been on the internet much is because I have a life.

In that life, I've finished all five seasons of Futurama, along with many other movies! What a fantastic way to spend many hours on my back and on my front from watching all the episodes back to back.

I've been jabbering non-stop about some of my favourite episodes to my boyfriend and Alau. But poor them, I never seem to finish my stammerin' yaps properly. It somehow always end with them having their eyes wide open and a smile half-stretched across their faces.

Probably, they were just waiting for the Bender punchline which I never seem to execute as brilliant as how Bender does it. It could also be that they find my stories don't seem to end anywhere, just like a broken record, so they forced their eyes wide open just to make it seemed like they were interested (ye scummy traitor!).

And then you'd have me with my forehead on the table, "I forgot what happened next!"

Pfft. Sucha lousy story teller.

Another reason why I've been off the internet for some time is because in order to go online at home, I have to subscribe to a wifi connection offered here.

Scratch whatever I said above, I was away from the internet NOT by option. But nevertheless, I'm glad I had Futurama to keep me sane.

Now, back to business!

P.s. I've been sporting my black leather Nike with purple pink swoosh for most of the days for some time now. 'Cos I wanna look like Leela! Also, 'cos combat boots would be ridiculous in this weather. Sheesh, give my pores a break.

Angus.

I don't know what has gotten into me these days. I'm so angry.

News Feed on Facebook angers me.

Twitter feed from certain Twatters angers me.

Receiving unnecessary SMSes angers the crap out of me.

To pinpoint the root of my anger, naturally, me in my angry state would love to blame these people - sisters, friends, friends of friends, friend's partners, friend's extra partners, scenesters on the net. Cut it out with the bike riding already!

Buttloads of many other things, but yeah, you catch the drift.

And now, I have an untouched Ice Chocolate in front of me. I wanted Ice Blended Chocolate, the one my boyfriend always get for me. But he told me it was Ice Chocolate, so I relayed that to the Starbucks Barista, and now, I got this crap. I don't like chocolate drinks. Blended, yes, but not as it is. And now, I'm thirsty.

AANNGGRRYY.

Gong xi, gong xi!

.

Feena and I lion dancing in KLCC!

Armed with my sister's iPod, I took the train to meet them for lunch today. Through my eyes, everything around me played like a clip and I am the director. It was definitely a whiff of fresh air amongst my stale weeks in classroom and an empty department.

Friends like these are hard to come by. Today was a beautiful day, indeed!

I judge you, you judge me.

Big fucking deal. If it's a crime, then everyone is guilty of it. What do you think 'first impression' is all about? What happens after is what really matters.

Would you :

a. Stick to your opinion on the object of your mind scrutiny?
b. Get to know the poor object and see what they are all about?

This is where the proverb 'Tak kenal, maka tak cinta' springs into action. If someone judges you wrongly, you could either :

a. Give your best attempt to prove them wrong.
b. Don't give a fucking bleep about it.

I always resort to option b. just 'cos most of the time, I can't be bothered about it, but sometimes, I secretly do option a. after and come back to do option b. for the final touch. Yada, yada, yada. No disclaimer you can hang big enough to your neck to stop people from judging you.

So, snap the heck out of it.

The light in my darkest hour is fear.

Don't lose your heart, you'll have to take another pill and tell another lie. And lie amongst your lies like tuna in the brine.

Without a doubt, my favourite from Silverchair. I listen to it when I'm depressed which may seem ridiculous to some of you but hey, to each their own, and also when I want to feel earthed. Across The Night comes in at a close second mainly because everytime I listen to it, I feel like I'm sucked into a time vortex hauling me back to that holiday in 2007 when I first met my boyfriend, and that is a story for another day!

Now, if only Silverchair would come to Malaysia.

Kasih.

Kasih is the unaffectionate one out of the pair of kittens we have. She was named by an aunt whose afternoons are spent watching local and Indonesian dramas on the telly and whose love for sappy Indonesian ballads was demonstrated by her 3 year old son, who is now 5.

The only reason Kasih would ever climb on you is if you have the tuna cat food for kittens on top of your head. She goes batshit crazy for a munch of those. Same action could also be witnessed when we bathe her. Here's an advice, if you are weak at heart, do not pour water, however comfortably lukewarm it is, on Kasih. She will claw your eyes out!

True story. *adjusts eye-patch*

She squirms from our hold and refuses to stay still. The ONLY time you can do so without fail is when she just had a hearty meal of tuna cat food, or in other words, when she is sleepy.

She is feisty and cold, most of the time, but I love her dearly, still. I understand that she likes her space as I share the same sentiment with mine. Like people, my cats have a character of their own. This is a short description of Kasih.

One day, my cats won't be of the same size anymore. One day, they will bear/father kittens of their own. One day, they will get old and they will leave us. I dread for that last One Day. I wonder whether I would be able to start over from scratch and have another batch of feline friends again.

After all, the first batch left me heartbroken I couldn't even fathom the thought of having more cats. This is only our second.

Food chain.

I have been considering closing my Facebook account for some time already for reasons like, "I'm not even active on it, so why is there a need to have one?" Because, see, this is how it's like -

Twitter > Blogspot > Facebook

Facebook has always been at the end of the chain, ever since I joined Twitter. Safe to say that Twitter is the champion. Long story short ('cos I'm not up for talking about this in the first place) from the start of last week, I've been flooding my Facebook with status updates to reignite the stomped on flickering flames I had for Facebook when I first registered for it.

Twitter is still the long reigning champion, though. But Facebook has been gradually crawling its way up to second placing, leaving Blogspot behind. In no circumstances that I could ever fathom of leaving Blogspot unattended. I might be away for a long time, but I love having an online journal enough to deter me from ever leaving one.

So, there you go. For no one's benefit only mine, I will try to keep all three accounts at the same pace. So, let's start slow with short updates in here, eh?

Sing-off.

I've been learning Silverchair's Tuna in The Brine and Colbie Callait's Falling For You on the guitar these two days. Funny how I thought I had done a good job at tuning my own guitar but when my brother retune them strings for me, it sounded so much better - so ringy! That certainly struck a chord into making me not being able to be away from la guitara for so long. Remember how I used to call her Dorothy? Well, Dorothy is going to be christened with a new name. She doesn't seem to answer to Dorothy.

Now, I have calluses on the tip of my fingers and the break of the middle of my index finger from playing major chords. It can only take so much.

Till tomorrow and thereafter.
